Having made the crazy decision during lockdown to emigrate to the UK with our family, we started looking at schools for our sons and working out the process of the transition from SA schooling to the UK curriculum. Considering they had been online through lockdown and the fact that we were moving in May with the UK school year starting in September, we had a gap to fill and decisions to make on education for our sons aged 10 and 12. Working closely with Cokethorpe to tailor their needs, the amazing Learn Studio duo made this stressful and unsettling phase fun and easy for our boys. The one-on-one attention and their ability to make learning fun by creating games and challenges made each session a great escape from the packing madness and planning at home and a welcome distraction from missing friends at school. After arriving in the UK and starting at their new school, the boys found the transition fairly easy and settled in happily and confidently.
